Read and understand all rules before joining. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse. All players are held to the same standard.
Treat every player with respect at all times — in-character and out-of-character. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or targeted toxicity of any kind will result in immediate removal.
You must be 16 years of age or older to play on BRSR. Maturity and professionalism are expected from every member of this community.
English is the only permitted in-game language during active roleplay scenarios. This ensures clarity, safety, and fair moderation.
Staff decisions are final. You may appeal through the proper Discord channels but arguing with staff in-game or in public channels is not permitted.
No Drama. Bringing personal conflicts, grudges, or outside disputes into the server — whether in-game, in Discord, or in any BRSR community space — will not be tolerated. Keep it off the server. Players who repeatedly stir up drama, badmouth other members, or create a toxic atmosphere will be removed without warning.
No Fail RP. Always act in a way that your character realistically would. Unrealistic actions — such as jumping off a building to avoid arrest or ignoring major injuries — are considered Fail RP.
No Metagaming. Do not use out-of-character information (Discord, streams, third-party communication) to influence in-character decisions. This is a permanent ban offense if repeated.
No Power Gaming. You may not force actions or outcomes on another player without consent. You cannot roleplay being invincible, unkillable, or otherwise unrealistically powerful.
Value Your Life. Your character must act as if their life has value. Do not make reckless decisions that no realistic person would make simply to avoid consequences.
New Life Rule (NLR). After being revived or respawning, you have no memory of the events that led to your death. You may not return to the same scene for 15 minutes.
No RDM (Random Deathmatch). Killing or injuring another player without a valid, established roleplay reason is strictly forbidden. There must be prior interaction and escalation.
No VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch). Using a vehicle as a weapon to intentionally injure or kill another player without roleplay justification is not permitted under any circumstances.
All hostile scenarios must begin with a valid roleplay initiation. You must give the other player a reasonable opportunity to comply before escalating to lethal force.
Combat logging — disconnecting from the server during an active roleplay scenario to avoid consequences — is treated as a serious offense and may result in a ban.
Drive realistically. Obey traffic laws unless your roleplay scenario calls for otherwise. Excessive speeding, unsafe driving, or stunt driving without RP justification is subject to admin action.
Emergency vehicles (police, fire, EMS) must be operated by players actively working in those departments. Civilians may not operate government vehicles without explicit in-character justification.
Vehicle spawning abuse — spawning vehicles in inappropriate locations or using them to exploit terrain — will result in disciplinary action.
Department members must follow their department's own SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) at all times while on duty. Server rules and department SOPs are both enforceable.
Department uniforms, vehicles, and equipment must be used appropriately and only for authorized purposes. Misuse of department assets is a disciplinary matter handled by command staff.
Inactivity in a whitelisted department without an approved LOA (Leave of Absence) may result in removal from that department's roster. Check your department's activity requirements.
OOC (Out of Character) communication in-game must be kept to a minimum and used only when necessary — such as reporting a bug, a rule break, or asking for technical help. Use /ooc or the designated channels.
Do not break character unnecessarily. If you need to address something OOC during an active scene, use the proper OOC channels rather than disrupting the scenario.
Advertising other FiveM servers, Discord communities, or streaming channels in-game or in the BRSR Discord without prior staff approval is not permitted.
The use of any cheat software, modded clients, trainers, or unauthorized scripts on BRSR is an immediate and permanent ban — no appeal, no exceptions.
Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics to gain an advantage over other players or the server economy must be reported — not abused. Exploitation will be treated as cheating.
If you discover a bug or exploit, report it immediately to staff through the designated Discord channel. Good-faith bug reports are appreciated and rewarded.
Punishments are issued at staff discretion based on severity and history. Minor first offenses may result in a verbal warning. Repeat or severe violations escalate to kicks, temporary bans, or permanent bans.
Ban appeals must be submitted through the proper channel in our Discord server. Appeals submitted outside of this channel will not be reviewed.
Rules are subject to change at any time. It is your responsibility to stay up to date. Updates will always be announced in the BRSR Discord.
